Dr. Flores is a recent graduate of NYPS Group’s former shared Integrated Residency program with NUMC and Stony Brook. He offers a full range of aesthetic and reconstructive procedures, specializing in various surgeries including rhinoplasty, breast and body contouring with the latest techniques, and breast reconstruction.
Before joining NYPS Group, Dr. Flores attended the University of Puerto Rico, where he received his Medical Degree, as well as his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He graduated both programs with the scholastic distinction of Magna Cum Laude. He earned a master’s degree in Clinical and Translation Research from Mayo Clinic Graduate School, where he focused his research on stem cells and regenerative medicine.
Dr. Flores has written several articles and presentations pertaining to the study of biomedical science. He has spoken at events hosted by the University of Georgia, the University of Denver, the Mayo Clinic, and other regional meetings regarding topics as diverse as RNA research, small molecule drug delivery, nerve regeneration, and biomedical device development.
In addition to his work as a surgeon, Dr. Flores enjoys leading an active healthy lifestyle, and reading books on sports science, finance, and history. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Dr. Flores has office hours in East Hills, Babylon, and Port Jefferson Station.
