Dr. Adenuga is a highly skilled and well-trained plastic and hand surgeon passionate about achieving the safest and best patient outcomes, with proficiency in a wide range of aesthetic plastic, reconstructive, and hand surgery techniques. Dr. Adenuga pairs a customized approach to patient care with an attentive bedside manner to optimize functional and aesthetic outcomes for his patients.

Born and raised in Nigeria, before immigrating to the US as a teenager, he obtained a bachelor’s degree in biology, with a minor in chemistry at Southwestern Oklahoma State, graduating with a cum laude distinction. He then received his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University on a full merit scholarship, before pursuing a general surgery residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, consistently ranked in the top 2 hospitals in the world. This was followed by a plastic surgery residency at NYU Langone Health, routinely ranked in the top 3 plastic surgery training programs in the US, with broad training by world-renowned experts in aesthetics, complex reconstructive surgery, microsurgery, and hand surgery. He recently completed a combined plastic and orthopedic hand surgery fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine and the Texas Children’s Hospital, where he also spent 6 months managing a wide array of complex and elective upper extremity problems at one of the nation’s busiest VA hospitals, in Houston.

Dr. Adenuga is honored to join the well-reputed New York Plastic Surgical group as an associate physician, offering a wide breadth of plastic, reconstructive, and hand surgery care. His main areas of interest are in facial rejuvenation (facelifts, necklifts, periorbital rejuvenation, rhinoplasties – including ethnic), aesthetic breast and body contouring, as well as elective hand and peripheral nerve surgery (hand and thumb arthritis, Dupuytren’s disease, tendon and nerve injuries and disorders).

In his spare time, Dr. Adenuga enjoys lifting weights, watching sports, exploring artistic endeavors, and spending valuable time with family.
