Dr. Kaveh Alizadeh is the President of Long Island Plastic Surgical Group, the largest and longest running plastic surgery practice in North America. He also directs the clinical research division of the practice’s plastic surgery residency program. He obtained his undergraduate degree at Cornell University and earned his Masters Degree at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons. He then pursued a Medical Degree from Cornell University Medical College having received commendation from the Dean. He completed his general surgery and plastic surgery training at the University of Chicago Hospitals. Dr. Alizadeh then pursued an additional year of subspecialty training in Cosmetic Surgery, Microsurgery and Breast Reconstruction at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
Dr. Alizadeh has traveled abroad to lend his expertise to others, having received numerous teaching and training grants for treating patients in Central and South America, the Middle East and East Asia. Dr. Alizadeh has authored numerous publications and has given extensive presentations on the national and international level. He continues to study new methods in all aspects of plastic and reconstructive surgery and has won awards for his innovative techniques.

Personal:
Dr. Alizadeh’s passion is to perform volunteer plastic surgery. Ever since he volunteered in the Afghan refugee camps in 1993, he has been involved in developing or helping charity organizations carry out free surgery in dozens of countries around the world. He currently lives in New York City with his wife where he has taken over a corner of their apartment for his sculpting projects and playing musical instruments. In winter time, he searches new mountains for adventure skiing, and spends summers honing his skills in mountain climbing.
